We’re excited to share that Ocean Canyon Resorts is officially upgrading to CampLife, a modern, streamlined reservation system designed to give our Members a smoother, faster, and more flexible booking experience.
Why the change? Our previous system simply couldn’t keep up with the needs of our growing membership. It lacked key features, struggled with slow performance, and didn’t integrate well with the tools needed to give you the seamless service you deserve. CampLife solves all of that—and more.
Key Dates to Know
Thursday, January 15 (Evening)
Online and phone reservations will pause temporarily while we securely transfer all current and future reservations into CampLife to ensure accuracy.
Monday, January 19
CampLife goes live. You’ll receive a separate email that day with step-by-step login instructions for your specific Membership.

Your Membership Benefits are specific to your account, which will be linked to the email on the Membership. We’re excited to share an important update about how reservations will be made at Ocean Canyon Resorts.
Beginning January 19, 2026, CampLife will officially become our new reservation system.
CampLife is a modern, user-friendly platform designed to make booking easier, faster, and more flexible—while keeping the camping experience you love exactly the same
Below is a clear overview of what’s happening, when it’s happening, and what’s changing.
Why CampLife?
CampLife brings several exciting improvements, including:
- Faster, easier booking with fewer steps
- Clearer, real-time availability views
- Mobile-friendly access so you can book from anywhere
- Immediate confirmation once your stay is booked
- A single place to manage reservations and payments
- NEW: Family Members can book online with their own profiles
Behind the scenes, CampLife also gives our teams better tools—helping us serve you more efficiently and accurately.
What to Expect with Your Member Portal
You can continue to use the Member Portal, which will be updated to include:
- A direct link to CampLife
- Helpful information about the new system
- FAQs covering key changes and new fees
- Easy access to support resources
The Member Portal will remain a valuable hub as we transition to CampLife.
Important Changes to Be Aware Of
Reservation Fees
- Members:
- $5 per reservation when booking online through CampLife
- $0 when booking by phone with Member Services
- Family Members:
- $15 per reservation (online or phone)
- Guests of Members:
- $30 per reservation (must be booked by phone)
Booking Access
- Family Members can now book online using their own CampLife login while utilizing the Membership.
- Guest reservations will continue to be handled by Member Services over the phone.
No More Waitlists
Because CampLife shows live, real-time availability, we will no longer operate a waitlist when a resort reaches maximum occupancy.
Members are encouraged to check CampLife.com or call Member Services for the most up-to-date availability.
Vehicle Permits (New)
To help improve safety and reduce congestion at our resorts:
- Each Membership receives 2 free annual vehicle permits per calendar year
- Issued at your first visit of the year and valid through December 31
- Additional permits are available:
- All vehicles must display a permit at all times while on the resort
Fixed Lodging Linen Fee (New)
- $45 one-time linen fee per Fixed Lodging reservation
- Covers linens, housekeeping, and lodging management
- Waived for complimentary stays and cabin certificates
- Guests may not bring personal linens to maintain consistent hygiene standards

1. Why is Ocean Canyon moving to a new system?
- The current reservation system is not able to be upgraded to meet the needs of all of our members.
- Feature limits: The current system can’t add key member-facing tools.
- Bad integrations: The current system doesn’t connect well with other systems used to make your reservations as smooth as possible.
- The current system has performance & reliability issues: Slow load times, frequent glitches, or downtime become more common as usage grows.
- With the current system staff can’t easily pull the data members care about (reservation history, payments, etc).
2. What improvements can I expect from CampLife compared to the Member Portal?
- Cancel future reservations easily (as long as it’s before your arrival date).
- Edit existing reservations online ahead of your arrival date—no need to call in.
- Get help from a larger U.S.-based support team when you need it.
- Use Live Chat at oceancanyon.com to connect with a team member in real time while making reservations.
- See open dates and available locations more clearly, making it easier to find and book what you want.
- Better communication: Members can expect real time communication via SMS from the Resort regarding important updates, activities, and reminders during their stay.
- Ease of access: With online payment options and digital signature options on rental agreements, Members can expect a more seamless booking and payment experience.
- Expanded online bookings: AFMs will now be able to leverage their benefits under the Membership with their very own login and online access to reservations.
- More Self-Service Options: Members will be able to add things like golf carts, move to site and storage service, and more at the time of check out in the process of booking online.

- Log into CampLife with the primary email address on file to leverage your OCR Membership benefits.

5. What is the cancellation policy?
CAMPSITES
- Change or cancel 3 or more days prior to arrival date: No fee
- Change or cancel 1-2 days prior to arrival date: $30 fee
- Change or cancel the day of arrival, no-show, or falls on a holiday weekend: $50 fee
RENTAL UNITS
- Change or cancel 3 or more days prior to arrival date: No fee
- Change or cancel 1-2 days prior to arrival date: Fee of 1-night rental rate
- Change or cancel day of arrival, no-show, or falls on a holiday weekend: Fee of 2-night rental rate
- If a complimentary reservation is canceled 1 or 2 days prior to arrival or day of arrival, a certificate will be considered used and no cancellation fee will be incurred. Other discounted stays will be charged cancellation fees based on the full rental rates.
Reservation fees are nonrefundable. Refunds and cancellations will be processed 7-10 business days after cancellation. If a cancellation fee is owed, it will be deducted from the refund balance. Any cancellation balance owed must be paid prior to the next reservation. Any questions should be directed to member.reservations@oceancanyon.com.
To cancel a reservation online, go to your Profile on CampLife and select the reservation you would like to cancel. The calendar icon on the right corner of the reservation will allow you to cancel the reservation.
6. How do payments work within CampLife?
All payments and fees are owed at the time of reservation within CampLife.
Please note the following:
- You still have to check-in at the Gate upon your arrival.
- Any outstanding reservation balances may also be paid on CampLife by viewing the specific reservation where the fees occurred.
- If a reservation has an outstanding balance on it, such as a Cancellation or No-Show Fee, it can be found under the Guest profile on CampLife in the reservations section. By selecting the reservation with the balance, you can see the details associated with the charge and pay for it there.
7. Who can make a reservation on CampLife?
- Members: Each Membership gets 1 CampLife profile under the primary email address OCR has on file, which can be updated at any time. Members login to CampLife using this primary email, which has all their OCR Membership Benefits associated to enable fast, seamless access to online reservations for RV sites, Fixed Lodging, and more!
- Adult Family Members (AFMs): AFMs can also book online with CampLife, but must register their own CampLife account, separate from the Members, with our Member Services team by calling (855) 872-1469 or email member.reservations@oceancanyon.com. AFMs should be prepared with their name, email address and their parent member number for quick set up.
- Guests: Guests are unable to book online with CampLife. Guest reservations must be made over the phone by either the Members or AFMs who are hosting them with our reservations team at (855) 872-1469.
- Non Members: If you are not a member and you’re interested in becoming a member, please call us at 888-617-8133 to schedule a tour and learn more about our memberships.
8. How do I notify staff to move my RV from storage after making a reservation online?
- Within CampLife there is an option to select to have your RV moved to and from storage at the time of reservation. The move to site and move to storage options appear at check-out, where you can add the service and pay ahead. Members who need to add the service after the reservation is made are welcome to call OCR Central Reservations at (855) 872-1469. 9. Where can I see a resort map?
- You sure can! Visit www.oceancanyon.com/resorts and select the resort you wish to visit. On the lower half of the page you will see a BIG link that says “Resort Map”. Click on that link and…voila!
10. When is check-in and check-outs at resorts?
- Check in time for RV sites is 2pm.
- Late RV arrivals (after 11pm) will be directed to a designated overnight parking area and will not be allowed to enter the resort, select a site, and set up until after 8am the next morning. Please plan your visit to arrive before 11 pm!
- Check in time for rental units is 4pm.
- Check out time for sites and rentals is 11am.
11. How do I know if my reservation is accepted?
Once a reservation is confirmed, an email will be sent to the email address used to login into CampLife.
- Please review this email to make sure the correct days, site type, and resort were selected. If you need to make any modifications after you received the email, please call Member Services at (855) 872-1469.
- All past and future reservations made within CampLife can be viewed under your profile on CampLife under the reservations section. Here you can also cancel your reservation or pay for any outstanding reservation invoices.
12. What are considered holidays?
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
13. When booking a reservation on CampLife, is it for a specific campsite or fixed lodging unit?
- There is no change to the process for Members with CampLife.
- RV sites are selected on a first-come, first-served basis at the time of arrival.
- Fixed Lodging is selected on a specific-unit basis at the time of booking.
14. Will there still be a waitlist for reservations?
- There will no longer be a waitlist for reservations. CampLife will show you all the availability in real-time. Each time your browser is refreshed so will the availability.
15. What happens to my future reservations that I booked in the Member Portal prior to moving to CampLife?
- All reservations for the last 2 years have been loaded into CampLife.
- All membership benefits will also be reflected in the new reservation system.
16. Who do I contact if I run into any issues logging in or using CampLife?

17. Can I use CampLife to book my Getaway Resort reservations?
- You will not be able to make a Getaway Resort reservation on CampLife. You will still need to contact us at (855) 872-1469 to make these reservations.

18. Why did some fee rates increase?
- We are consistently investing in our properties by making improvements and upgrades to our resort and due to economic challenges and market conditions a price increase was warranted.
19. Why do I have to pay for linens?
- Providing linen service is a core function in the hospitality industry for everyone’s health and to provide the best experience possible. You no longer have to worry about packing bulky items. The global pandemic also shifted the way the world operates and this became a necessity. Instead of absorbing these costs into the nightly rates, we decided to make this a standalone fee in order to be as transparent as possible. The linen fee is $45 per fixed lodging reservation. This includes sheets, pillow cases and towels.
20. Why do we have to pay for the linen fees even if we bring our own?
- In order to maintain strict cleaning procedures for linens, outside linens will not be allowed to be brought into the OCR Fixed Lodging. Outside linens can bring in allergens or pests, which is something that can be easier controlled with an OCR managed solution.
21. What do my Membership dues/maintenance fees go towards?
- We are consistently investing in our properties by making improvements and upgrades to our resorts. In addition, we are able to keep the cost of activities to a very minimum or no cost at all. 22. What is a vehicle permit and why do I have to pay for it?
- A benefit of being a Member is free access to the resorts. Each membership will be granted 2 Free vehicle permits per year, which are issued at the resort. We encourage you to share one of your vehicle permits with your family member or guest. Vehicle permits serve to reduce excess traffic in the resorts. Please consider carpooling to reduce this excess traffic and keep the safety and enjoyment of all in mind. This is also a safety measure so we know that vehicles with a permit are authorized to enter the resort.
If you need additional permits for yourself, family and guests there will be a daily charge of $5 or an annual charge of $25 for each additional permit.
23. Is there an increase to the fee for having the resort move my RV to site or to storage?
- Yes. Effective January 19th, if you are having your RV moved one-way there will be a $30 fee. If you are having it moved two-ways there will be a $50 fee. The fee is due to the result of liability and staffing considerations.
Guests are encouraged to book this service at the time of reservation.
24. Who gets charged a reservation fee?
- Members can enjoy the convenience of CampLife to self-book online at $5 per reservation, or they can call Member Services during business hours to book for free over the phone. Guests will pay a $30 reservation fee and Family members will pay a $15 reservation fee.
